Benedict Anderson The Band (batb)
Is an eclectic and adventorous trio who easily sidestep cliches from the typical sax-guitar-drums trio. batb flows through improvised works that sound carefully orchestrated while at the same time dissecting and disguising popular songs everyone thinks they know. An original, fresh, and thoroughly well-played ensemble. Check out their debut, eponymous album....fresh out on elastik dog records.
